CD4 and Opportunistic infection: Cluster of differentiation 4 (CD4) count < 350 cell/mm3 [AOR = 1.29 (95% CI, 1.08, 1.54)], develop opportunistic infection [AOR = 4.09 (95% CI, 2.47, 6.78)], rural residence [AOR = 1.59 (95% CI, 1.09, 2.34)], and World Health Organization (WHO) clinical stages III and IV [AOR = 1.98 (95% CI, 1.23, 3.19)] was among the significantly associated factors.
