Samit et al.63 coupled the near infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye Licor800 to PD-L1-mAb to detect the expression of PD-L1 on different breast cancer cell lines, and recorded strong fluorescence intensity for the PD-L1-positive MDA-MB-231 cells as opposed to the weak fluorescence for the PD-L1-negative SUM149 cells. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and breast carcinoma.
