The J4-mediated reduction in Tau phosphorylation at sites commonly observed in Alzheimer’s Disease was further assessed by Western blot and immunofluorescence analysis using antibodies raised against hyperphosphorylated (pThr181, pSer199, pSer202/Thr205 = AT8, pSer262, pSer396, and pSer422) and misfolded (pThr212/Ser214 = AT100; MC1) Tau. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
