The minor alleles of rs5743899 (C allele) and rs5743867 (G allele) in the TOLLIP gene showed a significantly increased risk of susceptibility to HIV infection (OR: 1.196, 95% CI: 1.026–1.393, P = 0.022; OR: 1.356, 95% CI: 1.175–1.564, P < 0.001, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene TOLLIP and HIV infectious disease.
