The 10 genes were: ACAT1, ACAT2, BDH1, BDH2, HMGCS1, HMGCS2, HMGCL, HMGCLL1, OXCT1, OXCT2. We analyzed the cDNA microarray data of 26 cases of AML blasts and 18 cases of normal HSCs from GEO database (GSE9476), and found information of 9 of the above 10 genes (except HMGCLL1, which was not included in the database) from the database. This evidence concerns the gene HMGCS2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
