The significant up-regulation of YTHDF1, YTHDF2, and METTL3, and down-regulation of ALKBH5, YTHDC2, and METTL14 could be observed in the 6 rectal tumors (P < 0.05) (Supplementary Figure 1), indicating that these m6A regulators may be associated with progression of RC. This evidence concerns the gene METTL14 and rectal neoplasm.
