CALR and synovial sarcoma: Local upregulation of type I IFN in the LSG of SS-patients was also associated with higher prevalence of abnormal findings on sialometry, leukopenia, hyperglobulinemia, high-titer antinuclear antibody, anti-SSA, and a high focus score of the LSG biopsy (25): emphasizing the key role of these cytokines in the pathogenesis of SS.
