As shown in Figure 2G, knockdown of HCP5 resulted in high expression of E-cadherin and down-regulation of vimentin in HCC cell lines (Hep3B and HCCLM3), which illustrated that down-regulation of HCP5 might inhibit HCC cell metastasis and invasion via inactivating the EMT process. This evidence concerns the gene VIM and hepatocellular carcinoma.
