BiTE‐mediated interaction between tumor cells and T cells induce the secretion of cytokines IFNγ, TNF‐a, IL‐2, IL‐4, IL‐6, and IL‐10,52 and lysis of the target tumor cells occurs through perforin‐mediated delivery of granzyme B leading to calcium‐dependent proteolytic activation of intracellular caspases which results in tumor cell death.53, 54. This evidence concerns the gene CEP70 and neoplasm.
