LINGO2 and colitis: The second putative TFF3 receptor that we investigatedwas LINGO2,which has recently been implicated with TFF3 in promoting protectionagainst colitis in vivo.(38) Neither TFF3 nor TFF3 homodimer displayed any effect on LINGO2 dimerization, which was assessed by BRET (Figure 3E).59 Due to the limitedavailability of functional LINGO2 bioassays, we cannot fully excludethat TFF3 does not signal through LINGO2 and we can only state thatTFF3 does not interfere with LINGO2 dimerization.
