To assess the anti-tumor potential of modified antigens, synthetic long peptides containing the dominant MHC class I and II epitopes of the human melanoma antigen gp100 (gp100280–288/45–59) and the mouse model antigen ovalbumin (OVA257–264/323–339) were synthesized and conjugated to palmitic anhydride (C16:0), creating mono-palmitoylated peptides. Here, PMEL is linked to melanoma.
