TF and cancer: In particular, they evidenced: i) how different studies had reported an involvement of NRF2 in the regulation of long-term radiation effects, ii) a dependence of radiation resistance in cancer cell lines upon NRF2 basal activity or up-regulation, iii) the relevance of this TF for the function of adult stem cells, and iv) the role of NRF2 in the cellular response to heavy ion irradiation.
