In addition, EphA4 has been proposed to play a role in different cancers, including melanoma (8, 9), breast cancer (10, 11, 12, 13), glioma (14), hematologic malignancies (15, 16), pancreatic cancer (17, 18), prostate cancer (19, 20), and lung cancer (21) as well as in resistance to chemotherapy and radiotherapy (15, 22, 23).
