IL10 and neoplasm: Localized tumor irradiation can both directly kill tumor cells and induce the expression of inflammatory IL-8, IL-10, and TNF-α for at least 48 h, with the later cytokines promoting the recruitment of the neutrophil cytopharmaceuticals to tumors, wherein they are activated to release both neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) and Abraxane, thereby providing a dual approach to tumor cell killing.
