E2F5 and gastric cancer: In contrast, bioinformatic analysis of RNA sequencing data from a GEPIA2 dataset representing a much larger sample size (i.e. 408 GC samples and 211 normal gastric tissues) showed that expression levels of E2F3, along with E2F2, E2F5, E2F7 and E2F8, were significantly higher in GC samples than those in normal tissues (93).
