The transformed NK cell line NK-92 (derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of a non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma patient) [15] was lipofected with stem cell factor (SCF) cDNA and found to have significantly greater proliferation and stronger cytotoxicity against a broad range of target tumors when compared to wild-type NK-92 cells [16]. This evidence concerns the gene KITLG and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
