Significant initial laboratory values returned a brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) = 2,845 (< 100 pg/mL), troponin-I = 1.98 (<0.15 ng/mL), lactic acid = 2.0 (0.5 - 1.6 mmol/L) (Figure 3).
