Results are awaited for January 2023. A phase 2 trial is evaluating vorolanib, a potent oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor which is active on VEGFR and PDGFR, as maintenance in association with atezolizumab in patients with ES-SCLC with no evidence of progression after 3 or 4 cycles of standard of care therapy with carboplatin plus etoposide plus atezolizumab (ClinicalTrial.gov: NCT04373369). This evidence concerns the gene PDGFRB and small cell lung carcinoma.
