CRP and neoplasm: Studies published in recent years revealed that a range of inflammation-related or nutrition-related indicators, such as c-reactive protein (CRP), controlling nutritional status (CONUT), systemic inflammation score (SIS), platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), prognostic nutritional index (PNI), albumin (ALB), Glasgow prognostic score (GPS) and lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR), are associated with tumor prognosis (5–10).
