Recently, an increasing number of evidence showed that NLRP3 inflammasome is associated with many diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, inflammatory issues (such as liver diseases and inflammatory bowel diseases), neurologic disorders, endometriosis and pseudomonas aeruginosa infection (Fusco et al., 2018; Fusco et al., 2020; Gugliandolo et al., 2019). The gene discussed is NLRP3; the disease is liver disorder.
