The heritability of AD due to APOE ε4 was estimated to be 9.7% (95% CI: 8.4–11.0%) in males (N = 6,896), 10.6% (95% CI: 9.5–11.8%) in females (N = 10,150), and 10.2% (95% CI: 9.4–11.1%) in the whole sample. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and Alzheimer disease.
