The therapeutic potential of inhibiting the renin-angiotensin system using AT1R blockers appears to be promising for the management of various cancers including breast, bladder, pancreas, prostate, renal, and colon cancer (Kosugi et al., 2009[28]; Chen et al., 2013[16]; Alhusban et al., 2014[4]; Okazaki et al., 2014[36]; Asgharzadeh et al., 2018[10], 2020[9]). This evidence concerns the gene REN and colonic neoplasm.
