Using fresh frozen breast cancer tissue samples (n = 127) and normal breast tissues (n = 31), Sasi et al. evaluated the expression levels of SOCS 1–7, and found higher mRNA expression levels of SOCS1, 3, 4, and 7 were significantly associated with early-stage tumor and more favorable prognosis in human breast cancer patients [13].
