Several lines of evidence have shown that adoptive transfer of human CD16+ γ9δ2 T cells potentiated the in vivo efficacy of antibody drugs—rituximab (anti-CD20 in leukemia) and trastuzumab (anti-HER2 in breast cancer)—in xenograft cancer models28,29.
