Previous cancer studies with 45 medulloblastoma cases55, 27 breast cancer tumors56 or 38 prostate cancer samples57 and drug response profiling studies with 48 Jak2-mutated neoplasms58 show that these cohort sizes can already be useful to molecularly characterize cancer subtypes and help in the discovery of future biomarkers. This evidence concerns the gene JAK2 and prostate cancer.
