CD38 and hypertensive disorder: In addition, our results also showed no significant differences in aortic media, media-to-lumen ratio, extensive collagen deposition or elastin expression after Ang II administration in WT mice and WT or Cd38−/− bone marrow-transplanted mice, further confirming that CD38 deficiency in bone marrow-derived lymphocytes did not contribute to the alleviation of Ang II-induced hypertension and vascular remodeling in mice.
