Individuals without obesity had a significant reduction in insulin sensitivity by 25.3% (baseline = 29.2 ± 18.4, post: 18.7 ± 14.2; p < 0.05) after only four weeks of SIT, while individuals living with obesity had an increase of 30.1% in insulin sensitivity, although it did not reach statistical significance (baseline = 5.9 ± 3.4, post: 7.5 ± 7.0; p > 0.05).
