Interestingly, PLCβ1 is involved in haematological malignancies by regulating haematopoiesis, especially in Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), where it acts on both erythropoiesis and myelopoiesis (36–38), with possible implications in transformation into AML. This evidence concerns the gene PLCB1 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
