In immunohistochemical analysis, STZ treatment reduced NeuN level in dentate gyrus (DG; 92%, P = 0.028) and Cornu Ammonis areas 1 (CA1; 90%, P = 0.003) and 3 (CA3; 93%, P = 0.043) of the hippocampus of 3×Tg-AD mice (STZ group). Here, RBFOX3 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
