Nuclear protein in testis (NUT) carcinoma (formerly NUT midline carcinoma) (NC) is a poorlydifferentiated carcinoma, genetically defined by NUTM1 (NUT [nuclear protein in testis]midline carcinoma family member 1) gene rearrangement with fusion partnersbromodomain-containing 4 (BRD4), bromodomain-containing protein 3 (BRD3), nuclear receptorbinding SET domain protein 3 (NSD3), or other genes (NUT-variant carcinomas). This evidence concerns the gene NUTM1 and nevus comedonicus syndrome.
