ALK and primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: The most common MTCL subtypes are PTCL not otherwise specified (NOS), angioimmunoblastic T‐cell lymphoma (AITL), anaplastic large‐cell lymphoma (ALCL), and natural killer (NK)/T‐cell lymphoma (NKTCL).1, 3, 4 With the exception of cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas (CTCL), which are usually characterized by an indolent course, and of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) positive ALCL, all other MTCLs are associated with an aggressive course and poor outcomes, with 5‐year survival rates across subtypes of 30%.3
