TNF and cancer: Through a KEGG enrichment analysis, we derived 14 pathways (Figure 8(b)): a cancer overview pathway (chemical carcinogenesis), an inflammatory signaling pathway (tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling pathway), and nine metabolic pathways (i.e., steroid hormone biosynthesis, drug metabolism—cytochrome P450, metabolism of xenobiotics by cytochrome P450, linoleic acid metabolism, retinol metabolism, drug metabolism—other enzymes, arachidonic acid metabolism, nitrogen metabolism, and pentose and glucuronate interconversions).
