After we obtained testing results by RT-PCR using Trioplex with its specificity of 99.1%, these cases were unlikely Zika, Dengue or Chikungunya.12 Results of previously positive DENV NS1- and IgM-ELISA are obviously false-positive which could be due to i) cross-reactivity among those who have infected with flavivirus or have vaccinated against any flavivirus diseases (e.g., yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis)13,14, ii) laboratory technical errors in Punjab, or iii) infection caused by other arboviral diseases.
