A study focused on gene expression from gains of 20q identify candidate genes contributing to unfavorable outcomes for HCC, including overexpression of the DDX27, B4GALT5, RNF114, ZFP64 and PFDN4 associated significantly with vascular invasion, and high RNF114 expression associated with advanced tumor stage [12]. This evidence concerns the gene ZFP64 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
