The levels of inflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β in the sepsis with ARDS group were all significantly higher than that in the sepsis without ARDS group (p = 0.049, p = 0.006, p = 0.048, respectively), while the IL-10 level in sepsis patients with ARDS did not significantly differ from that in sepsis patients without ARDS (p = 0.106; Figure 2).
