We found that the mRNA expression of ITGA3 in bladder cancer, brain and CNS cancer, cervical cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, head and neck cancer, kidney cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, melanoma, myeloma, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer and other cancers was higher than that in adjacent normal tissues, while in breast cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and sarcoma, the expression was lower than that in normal controls (Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene ITGA3 and melanoma.
