Immunoglobulin G (IgG) against MOG is considered to be a potential autoantibody that can induce demyelination in the CNS, and this was supported by the discovery of MOG-IgG in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and reports on the clinical relevance of antibodies against myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein in different types of MS (3). Here, MOG is linked to multiple sclerosis.
