Furthermore, analysis repeated in plasma of a subgroup of COVID-19 and HS showed that both LPS (50.2 [26.2–66.9] vs 12.0 [7.8–19.6] pg/mL; P < 0.001) and LBP (20.28 [13.29–25.61] vs 14.34 [13.12–14.92] μg/mL; P = 0.048) were higher in patients compared with controls and significantly correlated (Rs = 0.684; P < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene LBP and COVID-19.
