Our result indicated that although anti-IL-1β therapy (0.2μg/g) could extend the time it took for the animal’s body temperature to rise to 42 °C (132.04 ± 11.32 min vs 120.00 ± 15.03 min) without prior infection, the difference was not significant (p = 0.2, Fig. 7a).
