USP14 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: USP14 is reported to be overexpressed in multiple tumor types and is closely associated with tumor recurrence and poor prognosis.10, 18, 19 For example, Wu et al.26reported that USP14 expression levels were significantly upregulated in lung adenocarcinoma cell lines and nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissues, and high USP14 levels were correlated with the shorter overall survival rate of patients with lung adenocarcinoma.26
