Indeed, similar to USP14, markedly upregulation of p‐p65, TNF‐α, IL‐6, and IL‐1β was observed in preeclampsia patients' placental tissues compared to healthy placental tissues, implying that upregulation of USP14 may affect proinflammatory cytokine expression in placenta through affecting NF‐κB activation. Here, USP14 is linked to preeclampsia.
