We noted a marked synergy between ROR1-targeted therapy and BCL2 inhibition utilizing the FDA-approved inhibitor venetoclax, a drug that has demonstrated efficacy in other malignancies such as CLL and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) as well as preliminary efficacy in SCLC models with high levels of BCL2 expression29–32. This evidence concerns the gene ROR1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
