In all breast cancer combined, high expression of LKB1, AMPK, LYK5, MARK1, MARK2, NUAK2, PAK1 (both probe sets), SIK1, SIK2, BRSK1, BRSK2, SNRK, and QSK was positively correlated with improved survival compared to low expression of these genes. This evidence concerns the gene SIK2 and breast carcinoma.
