A study assessing CHEK2 and PALB2 mutations in high-risk Finnish BRCA1/2-founder mutation-negative breast and/or ovarian cancer individuals identified four cases of skin cancers with a co-occurring PALB2 and CHEK2 mutation [36], but unfortunately no details on the type of these cancers is included. The gene discussed is BRCA1; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
