Recently, microneedles (MNs) with controlled length of 500–800 μm have been demonstrated as highly promising tools for transdermal biosensing or drug delivery, since the MNs could penetrate stratum corneum without causing bleeding or pain by avoiding damage to the peripheral nerves or capillaries.[15] Especially for diabetes managements, biosensors based on hollow MNs array[16] and solid MNs[17] have been developed to detect glucose in vivo, while insulin‐loaded degradable[18] or hollow MN patches[19] have also been demonstrated to treat hyperglycemia effectively.
