CXCL8 and Cirrhosis: Besides these, there was a trend for high IL6 in patients with cirrhosis (p = 0.065), portal vein infiltration (p = 0.061), and higher BCLC classification (p = 0.053); and a trend for high IL8 in patients with diffuse disease (≥ 10 lesions, p = 0.072), higher Child–Pugh grade (p = 0.088), and lower albumin (p = 0.054).
