A comparison of CD19+ B cells, CD3+/CD4+ and CD3+/CD8+ T cells, CD3+/CD4+/CD25+/FoxP3+ and CD3+/CD8+/CD25+/FoxP3+ Tregs and NK-like T cells in glioma patients at diagnosis revealed no significant differences in the prevalence of these cells to that of healthy controls, irrespective of tumor progression at a later time point (data not shown). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and central nervous system cancer.
