These included MX1, IFIT1, ISG15, SAMHD1, IFIT3, and STAT1 (Figure 1), all of which have been shown to be similarly upregulated by ZIKV infection in other human cell types, including fibroblasts (Wichit et al., 2019) and pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived neural progenitor cells (NPC) (Scaturro et al., 2018), as also demonstrated by LC-MS/MS analysis.
