AGT and Myocardial fibrosis: This illustrates that CPVI with spironolactone therapy can decrease the AngII and ALD serum levels after radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation patients, thus increasing the role of the inhibition of myocardial fibrosis and narrowing the diameter of the left atrium, which effectively reduces the early and late recurrence after radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation.
