Indeed, we could observe that the in vivo exogenous activation of EphA2 forward signaling by ephrin-A1-Fc was effective in improving mice health status and in slightly attenuating the recruitment of neutrophils in local and remote tissues in colitis, effects recalling the protective action displayed by ephrin-A1-Fc in mesenteric I/R [6].
