Of the 839 patients with elevated PASP (both intermediate and high probability group of PH), 675 patients (80.5%) had left heart disease as the dominant cause, 85 (10.1%) respiratory disease, 14 (1.7%) chronic pulmonary thromboembolic disease, and 43 (5.1%) other diseases (“miscellaneous”) causing PH.
